Schloss Wörlitz is a main building of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm also known as the English Grounds of Wörlitz. It was created in the 18th century by Prince-elector Leopold III. In 2000 the park became a UNESCO World Heritage.

Leuchtenburg Castle was first mentioned in 1221 when Hartmann IV von Lobdeburg-Leuchtenburg finished a lawsuit. From 1612 until 1871 the castle was used as a prison.
