Delos, according to the myth birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, was the financial center of the ancient Greece. Today the ruins of Delos are obligatory stop for Aegean crusaders. The ruins of Delos are UNESCO world heritage since 1990.

On August 12th in 2003 a Greek dream became reality - a 2800m long rope bridge across the Gulf of Corinth. Its construction was often disturbed by seismic
activities in this area and the drift of the Peleponnesus. The depth of water is there about 65m.
