Belvedere Palace is located on the Pfingstberg in Potsdam. Since June 2003 it
reopened its gates for visitors. Friedrich Wilhelm constructed this palace because of the nice view over Potsdam. After 1945 the building deteriorated.

West of the main palace of Sanssouci is the picture gallery and in the East the Old Orangery. The Orangery was rebuilt as residential rooms in 1771/1774.

The New Palace (original: Neues Palais) was built
for representation purposes under Frederick the Great in the Park of Sanssouci. Frederick himself
was almost never here. Later Wilhelm II, the last
german emporer, has elected it as his most favourite
residence.
