Between river Spree and Kupfergraben lies the world-famous museum island of Berlin.
Its buildings host the archeological collection and
the exhibition of 19th century art. At the top of
the island is the ''Bodemuseum'', in front of this the
''Pergamonmuseum'' with the famous Ishtar Gate, the
''Alte Nationalgalerie'' (right), the ''Neue Museum'' and the ''Alte Museum''.

Quedlinburg is located north of the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt at river Bode. From the 10th to the 12th century it was used as as Palatinate by the emporers of the Holy Roman Empire. Worth seeing is the historical old town of Quedlinburg. Quedlinburgs architectural heritage became UNESCO world heritage in 1994.

San Servolo is located in the lagoon of Venice. From the 8th to the 12th century the island was used as monastery, later it became a hospital for mental illness. Today it is used for exhibitions and conferences.
