Steep border morains are left behind from the melting tongue of the Findeln
Glacier in Zermatt. Only 80 years ago there was still ice between the walls.
The Findeln Glacier is one of the most impressive examples of deglaciation in
the Alp region.

Zermatts guests arrive from all over the world at the Zermatt train station, because Zermatt is car-free. Next to the train station starts the ''Gornergratbahn'', which is going up to 3089m.
